About Heather
I live and work in Charlton-on-Otmoor, one of Oxfordshire’s beautiful rural villages, where I’m inspired by the winter landscapes, silhouetted trees and other natural forms.
My favourite methods of working are screen-printing and intaglio printmaking, where I use an aquatint technique to etch copperplate.
The paper I use is a specialist art paper including Somerset Satin for my etchings, and Fabriano 5 for my screen-prints. All of my prints are hand-made, unique, and usually produced in small, limited editions.
I also enjoy screen-printing images on to glass, then adding another layer of glass before fusing together in a kiln.
